Two Morgantown High School, Speech and Debate team members won awards at the American Legion Regional Speech Contest.
Mahnoor "M.J." Jafri took first place while Madelyn Hill took third place on Saturday's event.
Each student had to give a five minute speech on chosen aspects of the U.S. Constitution.
MJ will now advance to the state competition, with a chance of going to nationals!
