All Monongalia County Schools' Employees:

Each year, Monongalia County Schools is required by the IRS to notify employees that they are eligible to participate in a 403(b) plan.  Monongalia County Schools has established a voluntary 403(b) plan that allows all eligible employees to participate through payroll reductions. These contributions are calculated and deducted before taxes (or after tax for ROTH plans), and your contribution is sent to the investment provider of your choice on your behalf.

The 2024 403(b) Meaningful Notice/Plan Information Brochure (MN) and Annual Retirement Benefits Guide (ARBG) are now provided on a Monongalia County Schools' OMNI/TSACG web page. These materials may be downloaded and printed for manual viewing and completion, or accessed for a fully digital experience with fillable forms for easy online submission.  

For your convenience, we are linking the 2024 IRS 403(b) Meaningful Notice/Plan Summary which provides information about the 403(b) plan, and the 2024 Annual Retirement Benefits Guide.  To participate, you will need to complete a Salary Reduction Agreement and the investment provider’s enrollment documents to open your account with them directly.   Authorized investment providers are listed on the OMNI/TSACG web page.

Please note that the 403(b) plan is in addition to the WV Retirement System.
